I was just wondering what viral marketing you thought was best for a small website? We are a non profit organization and wondered what we could do to drive more traffic to our site other then search engines etc?

• There are a lot of variables here but the essentials of what you want could probably be coded for at most $5000. Running cost for little traffic and moderate storage requirements would be perhaps $50 a month on a virtual server. Going up to a dedicated server would probably be double that to support low tens of thousands of users, assuming moderate requirements for each user. To support a million users probably multiply the figure by between ten and a hundred, depending on how intensive each user is in terms of bandwidth, storage and processing requirements.
• 1) Setup cost totally depends on how amazing you want it to look, but I don't do web design so I can't even give you a ballpark.

  2) Monthly cost with little traffic… a cheap hosting plan from godaddy would work for the amount of traffic you'd probably get… plans start at around $5-$6 a month for what you would need

It's supposed to give you reciprical traffic based on reading the content of your page like Adsense does (but it doesn't pay anything, just gives free traffic).

It says you actually get like 10x or more traffic back, due to some exponential growth aspect of it. (multi tier affiliate based on who signs under you?)

Does this kind of thing really work? I wouldn't say no to free traffic.
